Jamal, What do you do to protect yourself from mountain lion attacks?

Nothing really. In all my years of hiking I’ve never even seen a mountain lion (they are out there, but likely hear me coming and take off long before I have a chance to see them.) I don’t think there’s been a cougar attack in SOUTHERN Utah in the past 50 years and there’s never been a fatality in the entire state.
