I took a break from my long-distance hikes in spring 2025 for a special dayhike to The Wave in Coyote Buttes North. I joined a friend and her family after they were lucky enough to win a permit and had an extra spot. We also visited many of the cool spots near The Wave such as: Hamburger Rock, Second Wave, Top Rock Arch, The Alcove, Melody Arch, Big Mac, Sand Cove, and The Boneyard. Fun day!
