The first episode of my “Salt Creek Loop Hike” extended series is now up on YouTube. There will be four videos in this series with each covering 2-3 days of the hike. I originally didn’t want the trip to be this long, but it was the only way to make the itinerary happen with the available last-minute permits. Turned out to be great as I was going slow due to the rain and it being my fist hike of the year — so I enjoyed the slower pace, especially with so much to see in the area. Hope you enjoy the series:

I have thoroughly enjoyed your entire Salt Creek series. I especially loved your final video, as I was thrilled – just as you were – to see Angel Arch from above. When we were there (but not right underneath the arch as you were), I looked up at the huge cliff across the way, and it never occurred to me that people could be up there. Maybe someday we’ll return and I’ll get to have that glorious view for myself. It looks incredible!
