It was my first real white-water trip and it was <strong>awesome<\/strong>. We began by motoring down Meander Canyon and through Canyonlands National Park before getting to the real rapids. It was cool to be on sections of the river that I&#8217;d seen before while walking the rims high above. The Colorado was only running at 13,000 cfs so it wasn&#8217;t too crazy &#8212; but it was still a thrill riding the front of a catamaran raft through the &#8220;Big Drops&#8221; of Cataract Canyon.
